Queens, public bar, is the perfect place to enjoy a few casual drinks or a quick bite to eat. Locals and guests alike can enjoy our selections of gins, whisky’s and vodkas. Along with our weekly changing Real Ale, or you can just relax with a pint of old favourites like Belhaven Best or Tennent’s Lager. And let’s not forget the ciders from traditional Thatchers to fruity Thatchers Fusion – brilliant for those rare hot days.

Our bar is open daily and while you’re enjoying your drinks you can watch one of our two large screen T.Vs, making sure you never miss any sporting highlights. You can also make use of our pool table and darts board.

We aren’t currently serving lunches daily. Our Sunday Carvery is served from 12:30 until 14:30, we are serving evening meals from 5:00pm until 8:30pm  Monday to Friday and food all day on Saturday. 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Sunday.
